If it feels like you got kicked in the gut throughout this post, it's because I'm speaking with my OCD graphic design tone...


Typography. You need to make that text fit with the theme, as well as design scheme.

"Ducky you naughty vixen" is trying to be sort of cutesy and ironic, right? Well, don't choose "Computer Geek 5" font; no one wants to imagine a Rubber Ducky and a guy using a computer talking dirty... they're going to get a mental image of something a little disgusting.

Also, the heavy red-orange background isn't quite appealing to the eye against the black text; try making the text white, and maybe even changing the background color to the inner-most color of the ducks mouth.



Otherwise, though, the overall theme and layout is nice; I like the different shades of 'ducky' at the bottom.
You might also want to try to remove those 'ducky's and try to focus the poster on the single, big ducky (even using the original photo, only edited for hue/saturation/levels/etc, rather than being filtered). This way, you've got your headline "Ducky, you naughty vixen!" in a sort of "sexy" text, then the big yellow ducky, and your tagline "Bob's Rubber Duck Emporium" focusing on the irony of the headline/iconography.

thanks for the feedback. this was my first attempt and i've still got 6 or 7 weeks before it needs to be handed in.
might try using a different picture to make it seem a little bit more cheeky
