At University of Ottawa, you have to pull your weight in a lot of classes or you will get left behind

E-Male, you remind me of my Accounting professors. They plow through their material like tanks and if you don't keep up you are screwed

Truth is, I have been a fairly easy marker. In the past my class averages were A- (far too high). Last semester I managed to bring the average down to B+. This year the goal is B, which is exactly what the university expects of 2nd and 3rd year students. Average. Given the general lack of attendance and effort, B (which represents "average" level of performance) is fairly just.

One must remember that due to grade inflation across western universities, A- is really B, and many business are aware of this. Too many students cheat and too many profs do not apply rigorous standards.

How hard is it really...you said it....they only feck themselves willingly...

Funny though...the classes I blew off the most were statistics, marketing, economics....It was the least useful I excelled in...I loved the film classes...once a week, four hours on a Thursday night.....to talk about movies...oh ya that was hard.
