Over the next few weeks I'll post an extensive survey of the visual effects and scenery of Battlefield 3.

My very early impressions of the game is that BF3 is little more than a visually improved run and gun game and will generate the same lack of advanced teamwork which BF2 engendered. Hopefully, I am wrong.

Using the standard, 'out of the box' video settings, this is some of my Fraps recordings.

Here you can see some of the flashlight effects. The flashlight effect (luminosity) is much too strong to be realistic.
