A true Teamwork game... How long we will have to wait?

Those who have the vision lack the resources...Those who have the resources lack the vision...It is the current state of PC multiplayer scene as of 2011.

It is up to us to fill the huge gaps in current PC titles to make them playable.

Let the discussions on standard procedures begin. Without them, I see no cohesion, communication and coordination.

Where games lack the tools, we should deploy ours.

One of my standards (and a perpetually moving goal) is collective situation awareness.

By this I mean the coordination of a squad so as to ensure that all members are mutually aware of a shared environment.

Only once this is in place is it possible to be fully cohesive as a fighting unit.

Collective situation awareness (CSA) does not quite mean that everyone shares exactly the same information at all times, as this is not possible.

CSA does mean that squad members are able to bring combined fire on an enemy at an instance's notice, indeed, often without notice at all, as they are all focused on the same area of operation.

Standard operating procedures are tools that facilitate collective awareness, mutual support, and maximum response.

Cohesion, communication and coordination come to pass only with continual practice as a squad, it cannot be readily executed at its maximal level within a ragtag collection of fighters.

My experience leads me to believe that one of the first steps is in the practice of cohesion. The specific and strategic use of squad members as if they were chess pieces on a board.

    Practice.

Edit: Working on a more detailed reply to your excellent question, Project.
