This is my 2nd full day with my brand new GeForce 250! It went from a 8500 to the GTS 250 last saturday! Man-o-man is life much better! I was getting 10FPS in BC2; really jerky too. Now I'm getting 30 or so with no drop when in the heat of battle or in smoke/explosions! I'm just imagining what I would get with better than a 2.2Ghz CPU and 2Gb of RAM. I have to get a completely new mobo though. Anyone remember a 939 socket?

Oh well, that'll come later. I'm trying to find a job so I can do that.

    I just went from my GeForce 8800GT to the Radeon 5770 yesterday and it also made a big difference in BC2! I was running DX9 with all low and getting about 30FPS and now it's about 60FPS.

    I just ordered my new system to play BC2 on:
    Core i7 920 ( not the best of the pack but good bang for my buck and tons of overclock room )
    4GB of RAM
    nVidia GTX 285

    I'm bumping up from a fairly old system (Core 2 Duo, 2GB and a 9000 series nVidia card) and hope to see a huge improvement with BC2.

    It all arrives just in-time for BC2
