I am posting some helps for your Downloading of @I44 thru Sixupdater.

1 Open Sixudater, then click the Mods tab, then scroll down to @I44. Before downloading run the ping test first.

2. Click on @I44, right click and choose updater action Install or update.

3. If you already have it installed from another source it will appear with a brown tile in the preset area. Simply right click on @I44 and do updater action- convert manually intalled mod- if it then shows with a yellow tile,( this means your version needs to be updated) now you can do updater action Install or update.

4. After you have finished this it will show as green and you are ready to go for the next step that is just below.


P.S. @I44 is a 2.6gig unzipped download, thru Six updater it will take approximately 30 minutes or more.

Ok, now that you have downloaded @I44 now you can create a Preset just for that mod.

1. In the Dynamic/Preset panel to the left-right click anywhere in panel- click on New Preset-Rename that preset to Invasion 1944. After renaming it click once on it.

2. Go to mods list and click on @I44 and add to Invasion 1944 preset.

3. Click and then right click on preset Invasion 1944- go to Create Icon-choose Create-Execute-Shutdown all the way thru.

4 Click and then right click to rename Desktop Icon to Invasion 1944 and you are ready to go.

5. On opening screen click the Multiplayer- click filter at bottom- put in invasion 1944- and wait for further instructions.

You are now set and ready for the upcoming event. It is a mod made for the Arma2 plus Operation Arrowhead- Combined Arms.

To get started here is a Sixupdater Guide to assist you.

To begin first download Sixupdater.

After downloading Sixupdater go to link below and follow steps 14 thru 17 of that guide then follow steps for Dayz setup

Now click Home tab and put a check mark in the little Beta box. Click Game Profile tab and put a check mark in that Beta box.

Here is your Sixupdater set up for DAYZ MOD.

1.Open Sixupdater

2.Go to Su portal and run ping test

3. Go to Mods list and scroll down to @Dayz. Click and than right click- do updater action- Install or update--

4. Go to Dynamic/Preset panel to left and right click anywhere in panel. Click on New Preset. Rename Preset to Dayz Mod.

5.Now click on the @Dayz Mod preset and go to mods list and add @Dayz to that preset. You should now have @Dayz and expansion/beta in that preset.

6. Now click on Dayz Mod preset- right click choose Create icon than follow thru with Create shortcut-Execute-shutdown all the way.

7. Click on New desktop icon-right click and then rename to Dayz Mod.

8. Now go to top of Sixupdater and click the Blue Save tab above the Game Folder tab. After this you can shut Sixupdater down and double click the DAYZ icon.

9. After Su starts it will execute your CO and bring you to the start up Screen. Click multplayer go to Filter box then put DAYZ in top box and click ok. You will now see more than 40 servers available to choose.

Sickboy has been pretty good at keeping up with the updates. When you open six and the Dayz Mod preset tile is Yellow, just do the updater action- Install or Update.


Go to the Armed Assault area of the forums and seek threads for the Dayz mod and read for more info about the Mod and groups that are currently playing. Also there is a TS channel with a PW located in the Armed Assault area of Teamspeak.

I am going to only list the steps to follow to help guide you. Sorry no pictures as you can find them already posted in Dredge's thread "Everything you need" thread.

1. After d/ld'g Six, have them retrieve the ALPHA and BRAVO server YML's, found in the Communities area of the Blog. Look under the Six Icon within the Blog area (9th Community listed). Click the YML addresses one at a time.

2. That will set them up with the YML's and they will see a ALPHA and BRAVO server Preset in the Dynamic area of Six to the far left panel.

3. Edited: This step is not necessary.

4. They should now see @Jayarma2lib,@Jayarma2lib_new,@TGmaps,Expension/beta,all the @ACE mods, and @ACRE in the BRAVO preset and ALPHA preset will show the three @CBA files, @TGAlpha, @sthud, and @stmovement.

5. Now have them open the Options by clicking the small blue tab, located upper left corner of Six. Look for the servermod box near bottom and clear that of "servermods" if there. Click ok or save.

6. Now look for green button or tab titled "Sync with SU portal. Click Run Ping Test.

7.After that runs, now they are ready to download.

8. Have them click the tacticagamer.com ALPHA and BRAVO preset title.(These are located in the Dynamic area panel to the left.) Then right click, go to updater actions, choose convert manually mods.

9. When that process is finished follow same steps as above, but now choose Install or update mods.

10. This will take some time, so relax go get a drink or whatever.

11. Now all the little tiles to the left of the mods for Bravo server should be green except for @Jayarma2lib which will remain black.

12. Near the end a white box will appear and ask for permission to load plugins for Teamspeak. This would be a good time to close Teamspeak before clicking yes for that.

I am sorry, you thought you were done.

13. Now you can create an Icon just for the ALPHA and BRAVO servers(recommended). Follow steps of #8 and choose create icon, choose create-execute-shutdown at bottom and at top of next box that opens. You can rename each one, I have one named ALPHA and the other BRAVO.

14. Now go to the top of Six and your will see four titles--Home--Preset--Game Profile--Server. You should already be looking at Home. In the middle their are 3 long boxes titled Preset-Profile-Server. We are only going to go to the far right of the Profile box and click the little black button and choose A2 OA Combined Arms (forced)

15. Now, going back to the top of Six, click the Preset tab and in the box named profile make sure A2 OA Combined Arms (forced) is listed. If not look for that little black button to the right as above and you know what to choose.

16. Going back to the top of Six, click the Game Profile tab. Here you can put Check marks in no splash-no pause-no filepatching-skip intro and further to the right you can type the word empty in the world box. Also to the far left you can put your player profile in.

17. The final step is to click the Home tab then click the Save button at the top of Six above the Game Folder tab.

That is all you have to do for now to beable to enter the Alpha or Bravo server at Tacticalgamer.

Now close out SixUpdater, double click the Icon on your desktop for either the ALPHA or BRAVO servers

Six will start up, it will ck mod status, it will now start the game and Six will auto shut down so as not to be running in the background.
