Discussion: Game Forum Archives / Breach - commitment from game manufactures - If you read the Breach forms you will see that the game developers are playing
If you read the Breach forms you will see that the game developers are playing community servers with their breach form names, ironchief speaks of being on certain servers that had problems. In how many games do you see the developers playing in the community finding errors in their product, recreating these errors in their control environment and trying to fix them? WOW I wish there was this much commitment from the other game manufactures

I know...it's great! I've been over there reading their forums at least once a day, and see the developers posting often about the work they are doing to fix known connection issues, and also attempt to integrate some other items being reported by users.
I wish they'd quite telling everyone how much they're going to fix the game and just freaking fix it already. I just wasted 15 minutes trying to get into not only the TG server but 5 other servers (I have no idea if they were dedicated or listen) and nothing loaded. They just sit on the loading screen till I get pissed and alt+F4 it. The last one I let load for 5 min straight and nothing. It doesn't take that long to load a map. I am SO sick of this crap. I just want to play.

If you're playing the game, be in the correct TeamSpeak Channel.
It takes time Spyder. They have to find the problem, recreate it, find out what is the exact cause, and do workarounds for it. Then test it. Try to recreate the problem. If they get it, then they release the patch. Sometimes the fixes break other things. Its a very time consuming process.
Well, to be honest, Magicka released almost in this same state, and they have released six patches as of today. I would have hoped something would of came out by now.
They kind of have to try and make it right. A lot of people bought the game and it's in a broken state, without possibility of refund. MoH and Black Ops did not release in a broken state. If this small company ever wants to sell another game to the community, they had better make it minimally playable.
The game came out in a more than a minimally playable state; every game I have acquired in the last few years has come “broken” in one form or another.
The Devs on this game are working on patches and interacting acting with the community on a personal level, more than I can say for the devs of the $40+ dollar game that I have loaded next to this one.
This is a small company, with a handful of developers who are standing behind their $10 game. What more can you ask for, if you are having major problems with the game go to their forms, post a question, or explain your problem. Ten to one you will get a response that will help you.
And “If this small company ever wants to sell another game to the community” I will buy it if nothing more to support a company that thinks PC players still matter.

I haven't been able to play for more than 3 or 4 minutes. That doesn't count as minimally playable state. And it's nowhere near the state of any game I've played from a larger developer.
I'm not sure why you think this is a developer that thinks PC players matter more than any of the bigger developers. It's a console port just like the others.
Bravo Microsoft, you have now surpassed EA in poor decisions and once and for all seized the crown for the worst 'Reveal' ever. That EA were standing there on the stage with you when you did it was...

It is not often that I encounter across myself when researching a topic. I found the following in a recent article on the uses of ethnography in virtual environments:
