So....all I want to know is - is this game playable yet? If not, what do I need to do to make it so? I bought it. It looks to be the best thing since BF2. I really want to play it. However, I point and click. All this stuff about server ports and optimizing shaders and doohhickey whatnotsagigabidgets is just gobbledygook to me.
I got yer Dancing With the F**&ing Stars right here!!

First, may I point out Tango that you invariably and presumeably randomly decided to post at 1:11 your time! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
With that out of the way, I don't think it's 100% playable yet. I was still having trouble logging on to some servers 2 nights ago, getting the endless loading screen. I did end up getting into one, and played for a little bit, but saw some lag issues with rubber banding players. Now, as I reported in our IHS forum a few days ago, the last time I played previous to this instance it was great, with no lag issues. So it seems very hit or miss at this point.
thanks for the heads-up, Big, but was that with the most current patch? It looks like that was released yesterday (the 8th), or so it seems. (good catch on the 111, too! Totally random!! ... as everyone else says,"what?")

It may not have been with the most current patch, I can't keep up on what was released when and all that. Hehe. I'll try firing it up again tonight or tomorrow and see what happens.
I played for about an hour tonight. Really didn't see much lag or anything. I did notice that I suck though. LOL
I did have some weird issues when I tried joining a couple of servers though. I would refresh my server list, find one that was 14 or 15 players out of 16, and when I loaded in, I was the only one there. I started thinking that maybe the server had filled up, so for some reason the game was creating a new lobby for me. So I tried joining a few that were 16 out of 16, and the same thing happened. If I picked servers that had a couple extra slots available, I'd join and the other players would be there.
Bravo Microsoft, you have now surpassed EA in poor decisions and once and for all seized the crown for the worst 'Reveal' ever. That EA were standing there on the stage with you when you did it was...

Took a gamble and got a refurbished 30 GB OCZ Vertex 1 off of NewEgg for the low, low price of $30. Had some trouble getting the drive to be recognized by Windows or by my BIOS. Had to use a jumper...
