It is a little deceiving. It's actually two 500GB drives running in JBOD (optionally separate) in a big double-drive enclosure.

Geeks.com.. 750 gig Seagate sata for $139.95... ..
I had to jump on that..

I had a Single external Terrabyte (LACIE) die on me a month ago at work..lost 800 gigs of data.... it was 4 250 Gig Maxtors in a single enclosure... No Fault tolerance at all...
