    WTB: Your old video card

Have you upgraded your video card to the new hotness? Want to sell your old one?

I'm not looking for anything special -- just enough to play BF2. I was using a 6600GT OC that recently crapped out on me. I wouldn't mind a bit more juice this time 'round, but it doesn't need to be anything special. The rest of the box ain't that hot and my monitor sucks anyway.

    Maybe a 6800 or 8600?

Let me know what you've got and a price. Would like to get up and running quickly, but would prefer to put money in a TG'ers pocket rather than a retailer.

    Thanks -
    MDrL

AGP or PCI-e? I've had my old 6800GT (AGP) sitting around for more than a year; you can have it for cheap if you can use it

Crap, I'll have to check. I'm thinking AGP -- the computer is over two years old and was a cheapie at the time (eMachines).

Turns out it's a PCI. Or, PCI-e. How can I tell the difference?

    It's an eMachines T6209.

Looks like you should have a PCI-e slot.

I have an 8600 GT I'll be getting rid of by next week. If you want it i'll let it go for 60 bucks. It's only 2 months old and plays bf games very well.

Due to an unexpected sobriety emergency I find myself in need of beer money, $30 shipped to your door?

No rush if you want to look around for other stuff, I've just been holding on to it for a while as a spare just in case.

For a sec there I was wondering what NewEgg would be doing selling a Shellshocker (Tyco)

Age of Conan: Commandant of the Order of the Silver Dragons
Tharashk (HoX), Thraesian (PoM), Thaumiel (Guardian), Sorus (Assassin)

XBox360 GamerTag: P8riotOne (but it might also be my son playing - he can game with TG tho!)

Angelx: You'll have better luck with that question over here:

    http://www.tacticalgamer.com/hardwar...re-discussion/

Post what your current system specs, and what games you want to play and they'll help you out.

Re: WTB: Your old video card

    Thread closed.

I went to BBY last night on a whim, and they had a 8800GT 512MB on clearance for $100. I figured what the hell, I'll just pick that up and be done with it. It was a good price on a decent card, and most importantly, instant gratification.

Thanks for all of the offers, guys!
