Re: need games
wats with the trolling?
let me get this straight. if you knew I am legit will you accept my offer? Is that the only thing stopping you?
If that is so (which i know its not), didnt I mention already that the person who will accept my offer will be fully satisfied without taking any risk? I can't snatch the game from your hands before you even discuss it with me can I?
as far as me just being registered is concerned, if you really had read my first post I clearly stated how I landed here. for all I know this forum may as well be one of those scammy get paid to post forums (and it pretty much looks like it).
I came here from google looking for something specific. Do I need to post alot of hi/hello/ u r scam/ messages to support the forum before I can post something serious?
when I need to talk about any game then discussing it in forums dedicated to that specific game is alot more fruitful. even for general games there are more suitable big forums like gamespot etc. Not a forum that likes to brag about how many posts it has reached (typical of ammateur forums).
so just as I might be scam, you guys might be scam too. specially the "supporting' members whos job seems to post as much as they can.
if you dont have anything to offer and dont want my offer then y not just leave the thread alone. let someone who may really be interested post before u start trolling?
its a long shot, but i don't want trollers to put me down before someone who may actually be interested.

Re: need games
my word? how do you know what my word is? you will have my real word when you are ready to really deal.
the factor here is, "will you deal if you come to know the offer is legit"?
if not then let someone who will, judge my word

Re: need games
This sounds suspicious, because if you've got money to pay for all this web-space, then you've got money to buy your own games. If it's not your web-space, or it's not your money than that's something else. I don't have any 'extra' games, but I wouldn't give them to a stranger on the internet if I did.
So - What games do you have already? What genre of games are you into? FPS/shooters? Strategy? Simulation? RPG? We play a wide variety here.... check the games list at the top. I suggest you hop on one of our servers and get to know people - they'll be less suspicious.
(You can get BF2 required for Project Reality and Point of Existence 2 for $9.99 from newegg.com. There is a HUGE playerbase there and it's high-quality online play.)

Re: need games
again...
Did u read the part where I said I want to utilize the hugh extra space and bandwidth that go wasted every month?
So for me it will be bascially free. And for the person who will trade it will be free quality hosting. Since he doesn't play that game online anymore. Its a mutual beneficial deal.
you guys keep repeating fishy fishy. every deal on internet is fishy. then y open a forum for it at all?
and for the last time I am gonna state;
If you have a game that I want, and you want webhosting, then I will not ask for your game till you are satisfied that my offer is legit.
I dont know how simplified I can put it.
but I dont want to prove the legitimacy of my offer to bunch of trollers who aren't interested in my offer in the first place.

Re: need games
hehe.. we're not trollers, we're friends... and we're not saying it's a bad deal - we're just saying you're a total stranger, and many of us wouldn't do a deal "on the honor system" with people who we don't know - especially on the internet.
SO. If you're really interested in doing this, that's fine - but please answer my questions above.

Re: need games
You have to understand this is a pretty tight knit community. Calling it a "scammy pay-to-post forum" and accusing site moderators of trolling is not going to help bolster your case here. If you're not a scammer you should, without taking it personally, appreciate the caution and steps any internet user with common sense would take to verify the legitimacy of the other party. Posting more details and less overly defensive, insulting comments would probably be my suggested course of action for you.

Re: need games
I gave all the details that needs to be given to initiate the offer. Why would I give further details if none has shown interest in it? I am not here to advertise my webhosting packages. There are separate forums for that.
You complaining about me accusing you for trolling, while you accused me for being fishy and fraud. But the fact of matter is that what some of you guys are doing is exactly what trolling is. And being the moderators reflects upon this forum too.
You guys have clearly stated that you don't have anything to offer. Then why post in my thread?
Why ask for more details when you aren't even interested? That makes you a troll doesn't it?

I complety understand the risks. I never said to trust my deal on what I have said. I will build trust before the deal is done. But the deal has to be initiated first right?
Let me give you a scenario.
One guy has a game he used to play online but now he is done with it. He is willing to pass it on to me in return for webhosting service. So he tells me about the this game he has and I decide that I want the game. We negotiate how much space/bandwidth etc he needs and I am willing to offer for the game. Then I make a hosting account for him. He tests the account. He will know everything about me and the webhosting company that I own. I will also know who he is. He is satisfied with the hosting experience after checking it out for few days and decides to finish the deal and give me the game.
In the end he has a webhost without paying anything by using paypal or credit card (which is alot more scammy and dangerous then loosing an old game). He will be able to test webhosting without even paying or giving anything first. Contrary to what you will find in normal purchasing of most webhosts where you pay and find out it sucks.
But if he doesn't like the experience of my webhosting or not satisfied for any other reason then he just doesn't proceed with the deal. So there is no risk for him.
But here I have people WHO DO NOT WANT WEB HOSTING NEITHER HAS ANY GAME TO OFFER, but just trying to be CAUTIOUS for I wonder what.
Hence TROLLERS

Well I have nothing against your quest for posting. Sure you helped the forum reach the glory of 1 million posts. Also helps get up there on google. After all If it weren't for you guys I might not have found this forum on google and wasted my time
But it will be helpful if you guys keep the trolling amongst yourselves and keep it out from genuine posts. Well atleast not create problems for people who are here geniunely.

257 now. Thanks for the details. You seem to have a real problem here, so let's move on until someone shows some interest.

Re: need games
starship I think it would a good idea if you just stop trying to push this offer, it seems to me that no-one within the tg community is going to par take in your offer.
your more than welcome to stay and participate in the other forums.

Re: need games
THIS post was well written, logical, and respectful. (minus the last sentence anyway)
THIS post was accusatory, disrespectful, and uninformed - and is the reason why this thread is getting closed.
I'll not delete it, in case anyone wants to take you up on your offer - which would sound way more reasonable if your attitude didn't suck You're certainly welcome to stay and be a part of the community here, but if you do, you'll need to take 20 minutes and read the REQUIRED reading: http://www.tacticalgamer.com/buy-sel...uncements.html
