Selling Dad's comp for him
Me and my dad built this puppy, it was cutting edge when we built it, just over a year ago, but he's decided that he'd rather have the cash to put into the new hog he's building. Anyway, integrated water-cooler in the case and everything. If you have any questions let me know.
the case is an koolance 901b cpu, motherboard, video card and harddrive water cooled-6 fans. (This thing is actually awesome, we live in south texas and we can run BF2/HL2/D3 all on ultra high with out the AC on and still stay ultra stable.
mother board is a gigabyte GA-K8NSNXP-939
video card is a ati RADEON X800 PRO
processor is an AMD FX-53
RAM: 2 gigs corsair xms pro 3200 3-3-3-8 2x184 DIMM Black
power supply is a ENERMAX EG701P-VE 600 watt
hard drives are WESTERN DIGITAL 36 and 74 gig 10,000 rpm and a 250 gig 7200 rpm
optical drives 2 PLEXTOR PX-740A 16x double layer DVDRW drives
As you can see, it's still a smoking hot computer. We're taking offers, but are looking for right around replacement cost. If you can't afford it that's cool, but I'm not taking low-ball offers since this isn't a must sell or anything. But-if you're in the market for a new computer, but don't want to pay $6K+ for an alienware system that's similiar to this (go check if you don't believe me) then drop me a line. We guarantee everything works when it's shipped-buy must pay shipping, and of course we recommend insurance. It will be evaluated at a notary to guarantee it works when we ship it.

Re: Selling Dad's comp for him
buy the computer, then we can all hate you. If it makes you feel better, I'm 14 hours away using a 6 year old POS laptop with a 233MHz CPU (and my room-mates computer for games) and never get to use the thing. You know how he pushes the system when I'm not there? Watching porn. That's it. High end vid card, water-cooled technology. All for porn. *sigh* it's such a waste.

Shut your mouth! Does the computer come "loaded" or does he plan to erase everything?

And there's no way I can get permission to buy that ride. I'm haggling with my wife for a monitor.

I'm haggling for that as well, and an new computer. Put money aside for it with my bonus, but trying to get to it is like pulling teeth (it's in an ING account).

But there is no way I can afford this rig.
