How much does it cost to use an escrow service for $850? And are you, the buyer, willing to pay for that cost?

An escrow for $850 would cost around $60, and for the price he's offering on the comp, I think the buyer would be more than happy to pay that.

Sorry to hear that. I traded my last wife in & ended up with just enough money to buy a comp, It was worth it!!! Ever heard that song by JZ 99 problems but a !!!!!! aint one. I live by it lol.

Glad I didn't pursue this very far. The deal seemed quite a bit too good to be true, and it appeared his first visit to TG was to post this great item.

There is a big lesson in this thread, one that shouldn't be overlooked by anyone. I hope this bobhope guy sticks around with us though, maybe this community can help offer him compensation for his lost cash through great gaming.
