I'd say a used drive from Apophis for your mom is a good deal.

I hate to upgrade because of the hassle, so if you bought a used drive from me, it would probably be several years old. I tend to keep adding new USB enclosure drives rather than replace the core drives, and shuffle things around to fit and move the frequently-used stuff to the internal drive.

If you or anyone is looking for a few broken drives (I dont know.. maybe to fix or experiment with them) then let me know. They are Western Digital 20gb, 80gb, and 120gb.. and I think we just added another 120gb to the list. All WD's. We go with seagate now.
