WTB Processor, mobo
I need a slightly faster processor than the one I currently have (AMD XP2000+, roughly around 1.67ghz) If you have an extra lying around or one you want to sell, please let me know. I have a Asus A7N8X-E motherboard.
Also, any surplus cheap motherboard you see I will be willing to check into as well. They need to be able to support over 1ghz, but it doesnt matter what brand it is.
I don't have much money with me at the moment, so make sure it's cheap :P
Thanks!

Re: WTB Processor, mobo
All I need is a used mobo or processor. I can get a new Asus mobo for 40-50 bucks, so if it is used and you have no use for it, maybe 20-30 bucks.

Re: WTB Processor, mobo
I say get the new ASUS mobo for $50 then .... the Cheapest 939-pin ASUS MB I could find ( on newegg.com) was for $57 plus $7.70 shipping ( $64.70 ) ( AGP only - 800Mhz FSB )
The cheapest one with a PCI-E was for $60 plus $7.70 shipping ( $67.70 )
Good Luck ..... but $30 is to cheap to let this 5 month old MB go.|TG-7th| Gixxer_USMC

Re: WTB Processor, mobo
Sorry I havn't gotten back to this thread sooner, but I didn't mean to come off like that. I just need a cheap cheap older motherboard that would fit inside one of my cases. Thanks gixxer though.

Re: WTB Processor, mobo
Well, I've got some old AMD T-bird mobo/processor combo's (1.2GHZ memory serving) That are currently just taking up space in a closet. Worked when I used them last, but couldn't be sure without testing if they still do, and that could be done, but would take some doing.
I've also got an Amd 2600+ (believe it to be the older Thouroughbred core 2GHZ, but could be newer core 1.83GHZ, 333fsb afaik) sitting around. Hard to say what it's worth since most places don't carry them anymore, but quick glancing ebay has them going for ~$50. Being that this is TG, I'd let you have it for $30 +S&H. No heatsink.
