    Selling AMD-related computer hardware

I recently looked around my room and saw a bunch of extra computer pieces-parts I've been hoarding and told myself I need to make some room.

    So...here's what I have...

    AMD Athlon 64 FX-53 CPU
    Technical Specs: http://www.amdcompare.com/us-en/desk...=ADAFX53DEP5AS

This is a tried-and-true processor. 939 pin series and sufficient for running even the latest games such as Rainbow Six: Vegas. True, the Vegas diagnostic tool says it isn't optimal, but I played with no problems at all.

Why am I getting rid of it? Well...I'm a techno-junkie. I gotta have the latest and greatest. Soooo...since the 939 pin series is no longer getting new models, I upgraded to the very last of the 939 CPUs.

This little fella has seen some use with nary a hiccup.

The shucksters on eBay are selling these for about $200.00. Considering this one is used and I'm a generous guy, I'm only asking $150.00 plus shipping.

    ASUS A8N-SLI Premium Motherboard
A while back, I bid on this Mobo on eBay. Then I found another one just like it for a lesser price, so I bought it too.

Well...now I have this extra one sitting around and don't have a thing I can do with it.

    Details:

There are a few versions of this model...this is the Premium version...which means there's no manual flipping of a chip to toggle SLi mode...it's all done via software. Additionally, this version runs a bit quieter because of the AI Cool Pipe...so that's one less fan hogging your power output as well.

Rock solid board built by nVidia. If I didn't have one in my own machine, I certainly wouldn't be hocking the duplicate to my fellow TGers.

Supports all Socket 939 AMD CPU's and offers dual PCI EXPRESS slots for SLI.

    Overclocking BIOS

    nForce4 chipset; SATA-II; DUAL-RAID option

4 I/O USB ports and 6-pin Firewire connector

This is in a plain white OEM box, not the retail box with all the extra wingdings. If you REALLY need SATA cables and whatnot, I have some extras I can throw in.

For the experienced PC builder only!

Since this is the "barebones" OEM version, I'm only asking $40.00 plus shipping.

If anyone is interested in getting both items, I'll happily combine shipping, clean up the CPU with ArctiClean solvent and provide a syringe of thermal paste.

Please PM me if you are interested.

    Here's some more junk that's NOT AMD-related...

    Logitech Internet Navigator Keyboard

I should reiterate that I'm a techno-geek. Gotta have the latest thing...so I am selling my "old" keyboard because I got something that is backlit.

    Photo & Info Link: http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/pr...CONTENTID=6006

    Used, but works perfectly.
    Asking $10.00

Yes, I upgraded my mouse too...but gave my old one to my g/f to replace her M$ P.O.S.

More stuff soon on the chopping block:

    -P4 Barebones system including:
    P4 3.6 GHZ CPU
MSI Neo-series Motherboard (The actual model number escapes me at the moment)
    Fairly Plain-Jane Case

-NVIDIA GeForce 5900MX AGP 256MB Graphics Card

-Maybe a HD or two...I'll need to test 'em and figure out why they're not in use. If they're broke, I sure as heck don't wanna sell 'em to somebody.

-Tons of PC Game titles...many RTS and a small handful of FPS. None of 'em are "crap" games, I just need to cut down on my library a bit.
    Full list to come.

Hey proph, what RTS games are you going to sell? I might be interested in one or two if you have any of what I'm looking for.

I'm still compiling a complete list and will probably make a separate post with all the games.

Err, any timeline as to when you'll have the list of games you want to sell?

Heheh...sorry Acreo. I've misplaced a box from a recent move that has a slew of them. I'll dig around a bit and see if I can find it, then post a list.

Okie. I hope you find that box and also hope nothing else has gone "misplaced".

PM sent about the motherboard. My DFI board recently died and that one would perfectly replace it.
