Re: Wednesday April 23rd

I was so impressed that we had 7 vs. 7 and at worst it got down to 5 vs. 5. Great fun, good comms, looking forward to next week.

Sorry I didn't get back to you Barnaby. We are usually on the server from 9pm eastern standard to around 11pm est. but it varies a bit. The past few weeks it has been hit or miss.

I had to leave without warning as my keyboard suddenly stopped working and I couldn't type or use voip, really weird because its a USB, not wireless.

Re: Wednesday April 23rd

Had a blast. My night sucked. All I did was be someones target. Then PB kicked me and I could not get back in. Will have to re-check my install. Great to see some new faces.

I wouldn't say you sucked, the map or two before you dissapered I seemed to be on the receiving end of alot of your bullets Was it a cd key in use or a loss of packets issue?

We missed you last night strag.

Re: Wednesday April 23rd

PB kicked me. When I tried to re-join it said my CD key was no good. Tried again this morning and the same thing. Did a re-install and it looks good so far. I hate setting up a new rig.

Other then that it was a very fun time.

Re: Wednesday April 23rd

I too got a PB kick but I was thinking it was because my PB for COD2 wasnt up to date.

I will update that tonight and try the server again. I hate having to reload games but if I find that I too cant connect b/c PB screwed me so be it.

I also need to go back and reset my display options. My game looked like something on a PS2 only when did I move right up to a texture or model did it define itself with a somewhat decent skin.

Great to have gotten to run around with you guys as also the SOG boys.

The game pace was nice and slow and played very nicely till PB kicked me for losing packets. Good times and looking forward to next Wednesday already.

Yeah it was great seeing some of you CoD4 regulars rippin it up! We had some great coms going on all night. We had 6v7 at one point, and the maps played out very nice..... let's see if we can top that next week and get a few more people.

The bolts are deadly... that's pretty much all I use, unless I find a BAR or MP44 on the ground, then all hell breaks loose. =D'''

BTW - That PB kick is pretty common, dunno what the deal is. Just rejoin and you'll be set. I'm sure a google search might lead you to a solution.

QFT. In our weapons mod, the bolt-actions are the most accurate of the rifles.

Talking Re: Wednesday April 23rd

I had a lot of fun, lets do it again next Wed. The PK thing with dropping packets, I think just about everybody got it sometime in game. I did and came right back, didn't even get out of game, just rejoined and didn't have any other problems all night. That is except that I had a lot of trouble staying alive.

Re: Wednesday April 23rd

Doesn't look like I'll be able to hop on next week. My friend apparently gave me a CD Key he got from a keygen or something, so everytime I try to play online it says the key is already in use.

*sigh*

Re: Wednesday April 23rd

I wouldn't exactly call me dying every single round without killing anyone except my team fun. More like interesting. Man it was a long time since I played COD2
