Flashback Wednesday 30APR08

So are we on again to have a time of good vs. evil with the Axis and Allies once again?

I should be there barring any complications.

My gaming tonight sucked. I need a gaming pad or something. My keyboard keeps acting up on games and just locks up then stutters. Just plain sucks.

Kin, what is it you are using with Vista?

I'm using the Belkin Nostromn SpeedPad n52. It's been around a long time and is programmable and I really like it. I can't play without it now. I map my keys to the same place for most games so less of learning curve. The left hand is on the SpeedPad and the right is on the mouse. Hope this helps.

Very frustrating night last night. I put people in the sights and pull the trigger and nothing, except they turn and kill me. This happens to me with COD2 sometimes, any ideas why this is? Is it lag or what?

Sorry I missed out, my damn computer, possibly hardrive, is messed up. I hope I can get things sorted out for TRM Thursdays. Did we have a decent turnout?

It was not just me? I had Hazmat in my sights a few times at close range and could not hit him. I thought maybe it was my set u messing things up. I will re-boot the server this morning. I have not done that in a while.

Had a decent turnout, not great like last time but good.

The hd thing make me want to get a USB external drive for backing up everything. Hope you get it fixed and don't lose data.

Re: Flashback Wednesday 30APR08

Thanks Kin, when I told the wife this morning she just about went through the roof/killed me. My instructions were to "fix it". She does a fair deal of photo work and has everything on the drive that died. She backs things up but hasnt for probably a few months now. The sad/funny part is I just bought a new hardrive so she could shift her stuff over to it as it was chewing up so much space. So yeah she didn't do that yet

I think it may be a fualty power connection that I can easily fix when I get home. It will make me look like a hero in her eyes.

Re: Flashback Wednesday 30APR08

It was fun! For the short time we had what was it 4 on 4 in the sub pens that was really enjoyable.

I like the maps but man with only 4 on 4 there are so many places to get lost and also hung up on things.

I was also getting so owned my frustration level was almost maxed but hey it happens! Come into the Modern Warfare server & I'll show you how it feels? :P
