Of all the things my mic isn't working in COD2 anymore. I have no idea why it works in everything else. Does anyone know of a possible fix? Its really killing my play since I can't communicate with anyone.

What sound driver option are you using within CoD2? Have you tried changing them to see if any others give you better luck? Also, what sound card do you have?

We'll try to get you back up and going with VOIP.

Turn your EAX on, and make sure your mic is plugged in

Yeah, as Trooper said, trying using the Hardware + EAX option in CoD2 -- your Audigy 2 should handle it with ease. Also make sure the sound quality in CoD2 is set to High/44Khz. And just to be sure, make sure VOIP is enabled within CoD2. I know it's an obvious thing, but I've actually had CoD2 disable VOIP on me a few times for some reason. Maybe there are gremlins in the code.....

Also, when you select the "Creative EAX" option in the CoD2 sound setup, try using EAX2 instead of EAX3. I don't have any luck using EAX3, and I have an Audigy, so I'd imagine you're in the same boat. EAX2, however, works fine.
