Unoffical Scrims on Wed.

Hey guys, I talked to the guys and that said they should be able to make it to the server wed. So if you still want to do the scrim it should be cool.

Re: Unoffical Scrims on Wed.

That sounds great, Daniel_R_Davis! Now, would guys prefer a scrim where MBoI and TG players are spread across both sides (playing together), or would you prefer a scrim where it's strictly MBoI vs. TG? I ask because I'll need to make updates to our mod for the latter (to allow for the choosing of teams), which we would run only on Wednesday nights.

Re: Unoffical Scrims on Wed.

Yeah, we kinda staggered in late last wed. Just for the sake of seeing if what little training we've been able to pull off with no server of our own has made a differnce, let's go MBoI vs. TG. I expect we'd have atleast 4 guys total that'll show up, i'll try to get a count mon. or tues. to see who can make it. I may not be able to show because I think graduation is wed. (Everything for me seems to be on wed.)

Sounds good. I'll get a "scrim" version of our mod together, and we can run that on Wednesday night.

Re: Unoffical Scrims on Wed.

So how are we going to do this? 5 map rounds? You pick two, we pick two, and a random?

Re: Unoffical Scrims on Wed.

I've got the "scrim" version of our mod finished and set up on the server. It should be good to go for Wednesday night.

As far as the two TG maps go, I'd vote for Carentan and Brecourt.

Re: Unoffical Scrims on Wed.

Alright. Will custom maps be included or is this just older maps?

I'd say only older maps for this first bout. We haven't done enough multiplayer testing yet (although our first playtest will occur tonight, if you want to join us) to feel comfortable enough to add any custom maps into our server rotation.

Of the older maps, which two would you like to choose?

Re: Unoffical Scrims on Wed.

We pick Leningrad and Rhine then. How many people are we scriming with, Five? I've got five lined up ready to go if so.

Re: Unoffical Scrims on Wed.

We shouldn't have any trouble getting five guys together. If we have any more than five guys then they could be used to even out the teams.

Re: Unoffical Scrims on Wed.

Maps for tonight's scrim (five total):

Carentan
Brecourt
Leningrad
Rhine
<Random Map>

I imagine we could just start when we have enough players present.
