where do you play?
I got on yesterday (Sunday) afternoon and there wasn't anybody on our server. So what is a good server to play?

I don't think any server is even comparable to TG's. I have never experienced teamwork like ours anywhere else.
Make sure you are on CoD's TS channel even when you are pub raiding so people can see what game you are playing. That way you may be able to get a few guys on even when it's not our weekly CoD night.

I'm about to purchase COD2 (mac version) and can't wait to play on one of your nights. I've played on a few random public servers, at a friends house, and it's pure chaos, no teamwork involved unless it's a small game, even then it's sub par. I like the gameplay and feel, and playing with some folks that actually use teamwork will make the game even better, so I have to buy it.

Heya Vir2L..
The realism mod looks sweet. I currently play COD1 United Offensive, great game but pretty much always a run and gun frag fest. I did find one tactical clan but have not played with them lately.
I've tried COD2 as well and will definitely be purchasing it soon. Looking forward to getting in some games with team oriented players.
Hopefully Vir2L will get busy with a conversion of the realism mod... hint hint...

We do have our own mod on the server that has been fine tuned to improve realism and teamplay. You can find out about it right here. Originally Posted by MovingUnit_SOG
All the mods and maps that you require are automatically downloaded when you join the server and it will only take a couple of minutes or less.

I know where the best server is. I will get on TS when on, a good hint, but where to play when there is no TG's on is the question. I have played some good ones but can never remember what they are.
