Voip

Is there any way to increase the volume of VOIP?

It can be almost impossible to hear what some people are saying. They sound like they are whispering into thier hand or something. The volume of VOIP is especially bad for me since I have to speak quite quietly so as not to wake up everyone in my house and I'm worried that sometimes people can't hear me.

I can usually hear Bonehead nice and clearly but there are other people who just don't seem to be amplified at all. There doesn't seem to be an in-game setting to increase voip volume so I was wondering if anyone knew another way?

Ah, this makes sense now. I've wondered why it's been hard for me to hear you over VOIP.

I'm not sure how to increase the volume of VOIP. Usually I have the game volume turned way up so the immersion is better (especially with the new weapon sounds). I can hear most folks most of the time on VOIP.

Re: Voip

You can change this in your options menu. Hit Escape and choose OPTIONS not "Multiplayer Options". From there you go into Vioce Chat and I belive that you can choose the volume there for VOIP. I have noticed that the ingame ambient and added war effects are quite loud on your servers. Maybe just lowering the ingame volume might help you a bit.
