As part of the Tactical Gamer Community Award Ribbons system, we now have award ribbons available that are specific to Call of Duty 2. We'll also have campaign ribbons available for scrim participation, including one for the fairly recent LMS scrim. So please, start thinking about nominations for your fellow Call of Duty 2 players!


How to nominate a player for a Call of Duty 2 Award
You will need to select which award(s) (from the list below) that you would like to recognize a player for. Then you'll need to send a PM to TG_Bubba or obi in which you should include the player's forum name as listed in the Tactical Gamer Members section, the ribbon(s) you are recognizing him/her for, and a description of why you feel this player deserves the award(s). Provide as much description (i.e. map, scenario, what the player did, etc.) as possible, along with what role you were playing to provide witness.


Service Awards Available to Call of Duty 2 Players

Distinguished Squad Leader
Description: The Distinguished Squad Leader Service Ribbon is awarded for exemplary behavior, efficiency, and fidelity in the role of Squad Leader. It is awarded on a selective basis to each soldier who distinguishes himself or herself from among his or her fellow soldiers by exemplary conduct, efficiency, and fidelity throughout a specified period of continuous enlisted active TG CoD2 service.

Distinguished Defense
Description: The Distinguished Defense Service Ribbon is awarded for exemplary behavior, efficiency, and fidelity in the role of defense. It is awarded on a selective basis to each soldier who distinguishes himself or herself from among his or her fellow soldiers by exemplary conduct, efficiency, and fidelity throughout a specified period of continuous enlisted active TG CoD2 service.

Distinguished Assault
Description: In keeping with the spirit of the Warrior Ethos, the Tactical Gamer Combat Action Service Ribbon provides special recognition to soldiers who personally engage the enemy, or are engaged by the enemy during combat operations. It is awarded on a selective basis to each soldier who distinguishes himself or herself from among his or her fellow soldiers by exemplary conduct, efficiency, and fidelity throughout a specified period of continuous enlisted active TG CoD2 service.

Distinguished Sniper
Description: The Distinguished Sniper Service Ribbon is awarded on a selective basis to each soldier who distinguishes himself or herself in the role of sniper from among his or her fellow soldiers by exemplary conduct, efficiency, and fidelity throughout a specified period of continuous enlisted active TG CoD2 service.

Distinguished Tactician
Description: The Distinguished Tactician Service Ribbon is awarded for exemplary behavior, efficiency, and fidelity in the role of Tactician. The role of the Tactician is to organize forces and tactics used in battle to ensure success. It is awarded on a selective basis to each soldier who distinguishes himself or herself from among his or her fellow soldiers by exemplary conduct, efficiency, and fidelity throughout a specified period of continuous enlisted active TG CoD2 service.

Outstanding Volunteer
Description: The Outstanding Volunteer Service ribbon is awarded to those individuals who go above and beyond in volunteering within our community. It is primarily awarded to those individuals who help build our community through forum contribution, in-game actions, and other developmental services.

Distinguished Conduct
Description: The Distinguished Conduct Service Ribbon is awarded for exemplary behavior, efficiency, and fidelity in active TG service. It is awarded on a selective basis to each soldier who distinguishes himself or herself from among his or her fellow soldiers by exemplary conduct, efficiency, and fidelity throughout a specified period of continuous enlisted active TG CoD2 service. There is no right or entitlement to the medal until the award has been announced in permanent orders.

Drill Instructor
Description: The Drill Instructor Award is awarded to an individual who has dedicated time and effort into training and helping fellow TG players to improve, posting great ideas and strategies, or by helping improve their teammates at practice sessions as well as on the battlefield. It is awarded on a select individual who distinguishes himself or herself from among his or her fellow members by exemplary conduct, efficiency, and fidelity throughout a specified period of continuous enlisted active TG CoD2 service. There is no right or entitlement to the medal until the award has been announced in permanent orders.
