    Training and Tactics

Starting today, Tuesday we will have the training map up and running every Tuesday afternoon thru the evening. Get on T/S and we will start with a walk through of the map and some practice. We will end the session with a battle on one of the courses. Bare with us as it will be a learning experience for us also until we get a good agenda going. PW: tactical

Not a good turn out. We had a couple of 2v2. A little rifle range then some killing. We will try again next Tuesday.

Nice pic's Strag. We will have to get more and start a pic only thread for CoD2.

    Re: Training and Tactics

Looks good..I had to bail early. Later in the evening I did get back on but on the BF2 PRM server..Looking at the pics I wish I went back to COD2...I have to say I'm loving the PRM mod for BF2.

Fiddling around on the range last night I thought it would be fun to have a marksmanship competition. There's a bunch of different ways to do it but here's two:

    1. Everybody pick up the same rifle with the same amount of ammo and take turns one at a time on the range. Someone keep score and see who gets the most points with one clip. We could switch it up where everyone gets to choose a rifle of choice.

    2. Do a timed session where everyone gets two minutes, same rifle or rifle of choice. Tabulate score when done.

I also thought keeping score in the shoot house would be fun too--one soldier at a time.

Good idea Grunt. The game keeps score as well but we would have to keep it ourselves due to the fact that you can not reset it until the map reloads.

Training map is up and running for tonight.
Depending on the turn out will decide whether we leave it up or not. Jump on T/S.

I hate to say it but I have to bail for tonight....I was looking forward to it but found out last night my Uncle was hospitalized with a minor stroke...Look's like he'll be okay but I need to put some face time in and he's about an hour north of me.
