Single Player
Just curious about what ya'll thought of the SP in COD2?
I'm looking for another Military Shooter that has a decent single player.
I'm not playing anything online presently due to sucky internet.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Single Player
Mot73, IMO, CoD2's singleplayer game plays like a war movie. It's well done and fairly intense at times, but it's not a "realistic" game (if that has an impact on your decision). Still, I enjoyed it and played through quite a bit of it, even though I'd originally bought it only for the multiplayer aspect.

Re: Single Player
I love the sp in all the COD titles...as Strag said it's definately arcadey and if you are okay with that it's a lot of fun...lots of cinematic action and drama...first time through is full of unexpted twists and turns. I must've played through sp at least 4 or 5 times, increasing difficulty each time.
If you are looking for fun sp than this title will give it to you...That plus we'd love to have you come on our mp server here at TG. We run an realism mod that is fairly unique and host regular game nights on Wednesdays and Sundays, starting around 8 pm...Welcome aboard.|TG-1st|Grunt

Strag and Grunt said it all. I enjoy it when I get bored. Once you get a good Internet connection you have got to join us on line. It will be an experience.

Re: Single Player
Yes, the SP in CoD2 is the most intense SP I have ever played, well except for the SP on CoD3 for Xbox360 lol now THAT had me sweating!! And once you get the good internet connection checking out the TG realism server makes spending money on an internet connection well worth every penny!!!

FryCry. Sounds fun, where can I get it?
I loved the Singleplayer, most likely the most fun i've ever had with a singleplayer game.

Re: Single Player
You know, Far Cry has a Co-op multiplayer mod out. Not sure exactly what your co-op'ing (for lack of a better term?) but apparently its pretty popular.
As for CoD2 single player. It's too .. uhh... arcadie for my liking. I wish I could slap the TG mod into singleplayer, then I'd be having a ball. The actual gameplay first time around had me going until I finished it and I didn't find it boring or tedious... but second and third times around, the game was just too easy.
