Special Forces Training CoD2 Style
TG Special Forces
Howdy folks, I’ve got an interesting announcement here! I would like to take 5(Five) of you from TG and training you myself to work in a squad. The training will not only make you more effective while working in a group, but will also increases your personal skills as well. While this may sound like an awesome and fun thing to get in on (which it is) - I am obligated to warn you that this takes immense dedication and discipline.
You will have suppressing fire patterns, movement patterns, flanking positions and covering tactics drilled into your head until you dream about what you were taught a few hours before. There will be many times when the training will feel more like work than entertainment or fun, and that's because this is truly work. You will become so sick of running the same drill 15 times in a row, tempers will flare and words will be exchanged - but for the lucky few that graduate, you will be the elite. You will be unstoppable war machines on the battlefield, and invaluable assets to your team.
How to become a trainee and what to expect?
The first group of five will be done by first come - first serve. It is my intention to take on another group of individuals once the previous one has graduated. If 5(Five) people have already signed up and you wish to become a trainee, go ahead and sign up. You will be next in line for the second group.
All accepted trainee's are expected to be present for lessons in a timely manner. And since I believe that Early is on time and on time is late, you now understand what "timely manner" means. Those who fail to be present at the beginning of lessons or become AWOL will be cut from the Special Forces after the 3rd (Third) tardy and/or absence. You may re-apply for admission at a later date.
Each soldier will be expected to follow directions to the letter during lessons and exercises. Deliberate disobedience will not be tolerated. During lessons opinions do not exist. The Trainee does not have a mind of their own, they do not think on their own. They listen and obey.
Those who are lacking in maturity (which I doubt we will have a problem in this area here at TG) will be cut and not allowed to re-apply for the Special Forces.
What will I learn in the Special Forces?
A few things you will learn in the Special Forces are:
How to provide covering and suppressing fire.
How to make your grenades more effective.
How to coordinate flanking maneuvers.
How to become more perceptive of your environment.
How to move as a unit while covering flanks.
How to cross roads/intersections/corridors.
How to predict and be unpredictable.
How to view the environment for all possible advantages and fortifications.
How to become a Fannon.
I fully expect for a squad of 5(five) graduates to be able to complete missions with less than 80% casualties every single mission. Once you have graduated you should be fully prepared to go up against odds of 5 vs. 15 and come out victorious. (And don't think you won't be tested on this.) Our Special Force graduates shall be the Spartans of our day.
***** ***** ***** ***** ***** *****
I believe after reading this you all should have a general idea of what to expect if you sign up for training. I would ask that if you have doubts of being able to attend practices that you refrain from signing up until you are certain. As much as I would hate to cut someone from a class (because it not only hurts you but it hurts the other for trainee as well) I will if needed. To some these may be very harsh words and a set of rules, but it's this kind of discipline and dedication that is needed if you wish to become the best. But I know that here at TG we have a great many of mature and disciplined players, and believe that we can pull it off here.
So those who are interested please sign up.
Date and schedule to follow.

So has there been any progress on this?
When is it planned to start? Are we waiting for the roster to fill before any scheduling takes place?Vir-Chew-All!!

Re: Special Forces Training CoD2 Style
I was waiting to get two more folks to complete a five man squad, in which we'd then sit down togather and discuss the best times. We "Can" start with three of you and train for a triade squad, i've seen the formations and training techniques for a three man squad but was never trained for one myself, I was trained in a five man. It's up to you three, if you want to wait for the other two slots to fill or attempt a triade.
It's quiet possible that we'll be training for months before the class is ready to graduate, it just depends on different trainee abilities and learning progress. So for publicity sake, it may be best to start with a three-some. Ofcourse i'll talk to the squad once it's formed about the "political" side of this.
Just get back with me on once you three have decided, I believe you all know my xfire, if not it's danielxrxdavis.~Bar Extraordinaire~

Re: Special Forces Training CoD2 Style
One more question... Where were you trained, and for what? Real life special forces, at age 20? Or are we talking video game trained?

Fannon, I'd love to sign up for this, but I think I need to wait this round of training out due to other committments.

Re: Special Forces Training CoD2 Style
Gotcha Root, there will be other times to sign up i'm possitive of it.
Vir2l, that's great man! Heh, video game bro, video game. About 4 months after the first CoD came out there was a guy named "Biohazard" going through differnt servers advertising to train up groups of elite squads. Me being my novice little self said to myself. "Self, this would be awsome. You would be able to kick A!" - So I went with it, will never forget it. Me and four other guys, ThunderB!RD - Rafe - CandyBar - Vet.Seal
Buddy us 5 togather were unstopable. Biohazard called us "The Spartans of the Day" and boy did we fight like Spartans! It took us about 3 months to graduate, which Biohazard said was really good, his previous group took over half a year. - Originally the top squad was suppose to represent the clan in matches outnumbered 3 to 1. We never got to do that
Halfway through training his 4th squad he just never showed back up. Not in voice chat, email, msgers, nuthin. Dunno what ever happen.

Re: Special Forces Training CoD2 Style
We are still lacking two squad members to complete a five man squad. If you know any mature and disciplined players who may have the time to train, mention this too them if you would.
