Re: Ruh-oh :(
I found this here: http://www.codhq.com/modules.php?nam...iewtopic&t=699
Well sound funny enough but i losy the Key code on CoD2 once ^^. I lost the manual. Luckily, when i reinstall a thing, i gather the resources first. I don't reinstall and then realize that i don't have the proper stuff. Anyway, i found the CD-Key doing this:
1. Start > Run > Typed in "regedit" (no quotes)
2. Opened "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" (that's where all the stuff that are installed go....or mostly all the stuff)
3. Found "SOFTWARE" and opened it.
4. Found "Activision" and opened it.
5. There, I found "Call of Duty 2" and "Return to Castle Wolfenstein".
6. Opened the "Call of Duty 2" and saw that the second registry key was: "codkey" and had the CD-Key as a value. Yay!.
7. Got a pencil, a piece of paper and wrote it down.
Oh...and step 8 is the most pathetic one but here it goes:
8. After 2 days i found the manual sitting on top of the school books that sit on my desk. That would the last place where a human would look for a game manual....although it would be fun if they gave you things like that in school Very Happy
Hope the registry key is still there. If not, look for the manual.

Re: Ruh-oh :(
Unfortunatly CoD2 hasn't ever been installed on this hard-drive, so there is no-way for the cd-key to already be in the registry, or anything for that matter
