Error message needs deciphering!
Hey there people, I finally bought a copy of this game after Bubba hijack my welcome to the forums thread with talk of this game. And after downloading all the updates and joining your server, to get the current mods your running, i run into this error now whenever i try to create my own game.

I was hoping one of you guys might be able to decipher this problem for me.
Thank you, hope to play with and against you guys on your server soon.

Re: Error message needs deciphering!
This is an error caused by a limitation within the CoD2 engine itself; it happens when there are too many .IWD files in your \Call of Duty 2\main\ directory. Typically these .IWD files are map packs that are downloaded to your system when you connect to a server running custom content. All you need to do is drag and drop these custom files out of your \Call of Duty 2\main\ directory, and your game will run normally. The map packs TG runs include:
bp3.iwd
mp1.iwd
mp2.iwd
mp3.iwd
mp4.iwd
mp5.iwd
mp6.iwd
mp7.iwd
mp8.iwd
mp9.iwd
m10.iwd
m11.iwd
m12.iwd
m13.iwd
m14.iwd
m15.iwd
m16.iwd
m17.iwd
m18.iwd
m19.iwd
m20.iwd
m21.iwd
m22.iwd
m23.iwd
m24.iwd
m25.iwd
m26.iwd
m27.iwd
m28.iwd
m29.iwd
If you see any of these files in your \Call of Duty 2\main\ directory, drag and drop them to another directory on your hard drive.
If you play on other CoD2 servers that run custom content, it's likely there will be other .IWD files in your \Call of Duty 2\main\ directory besides those listed above. These could also cause the error you received and should be moved to another directory on your hard drive.
