TG CoD2 dieing?
It seems that our TG nights are dieing. Not much of a turnout for the past few weeks. It's strange to me because the TR community seems to be getting bigger every day, but it seems to be the complete opposite here on TG nights.
I don't get it cause I think the TG mod is the best mod out for CoD2 tactical play.
Anyone have any theories on why the server doesn't populate anymore?
Are we in the bottom of the swell, so to speak? Will it pick up again?
I sure hope so, cause you just don't find the level of play or communication on any other TR server IMO.
Save TG CoD2!!!!!Vir-Chew-All!!

Re: TG CoD2 dieing?
TG COD2 hasnt exactly had an easy time at all getting going. We tend to go thru phases, really busy for like 2 months straight then kind of quiet for a month or so. I know for me im way to busy to play anything wednesday nights. We are all still around, just never at the same time.
Maybe some inhouse scrims might get things going again.that sounds like a good idea trooper.

Re: TG CoD2 dieing?
Yea I sure hate to see it go, some of my best nights (having fun) were playing COD2 on our TG server. It is a place for all groups to come together and just have fun. The maps are great and the people the best.
I played BF2 some lately and it is just not as involved as COD2. The other night when a few of us did get together and play, my heart rate was up and I rounded a corner and an enemy jumped out in front of me and I nearly jumped out of my chair. Great time. The Old Guy

Re: TG CoD2 dieing?
I havn't been around much recently. Mainly becaus of uni and time differences. Usually you guys would start a night at 1am or 2am GMT which just isn't good for me if I need to get up at 7. I've been playing PR a little bit because it is more Euro friendly.
University finishes next Wednesday and a few weeks after that exams will be over so I'll probably be able to play more often.

Re: TG CoD2 dieing?
I should be back on a schedule this week. I have not been around due to work and real life stuff. We have to get people involved again. I am not giving up on CoD2.

Re: TG CoD2 dieing?
I would be playing, but I can't get the mod to work on my machine, and to be honest, the vanilla multiplayer mode is really only fun if you're in the mood for Quake or Doom.

Re: TG CoD2 dieing?
It was a while ago when I tried it, but I try to connect to the server, and it spits out some error with the map name. I'll try again next week when the work dies down.

Re: TG CoD2 dieing?
I wish I could play as often as I could when I started, but as of now, my work schedule has me AFK for 4 weeks at a time :P In a sense, it has lost it's clodhopper-appeal

Not that I don't like it, it's just I'm never around anymore, so my fans have lost hope! ha! :P
All kidding aside, it seemed like it was dying last time I was home... but we'll see this time around. I needs me some CoD2 TG action... or else, you know, all work and no play makes jack (or Russ in this case) a dull boy.|TG|Clodhopper - Intelligence is the key, but I'm locked out!
