I don't exactly have to feel the hammer. The game play on there is pretty much run and gun. Not because rules are being broken. It's because the respawns make for faster game play. I spawn, shoot somebody, run for cover, shoot somebody else, die. It's constant action that makes it run and gun, not actual run and gun tactics. I seriously felt like I was in an action movie.

I wasn't bunny hopping or I don't know really what else I could do that was run and gun. I used iron sights and attempted to complete the objective. The action was just so fierce and constant that it was infinitely easier to gain points than a no respawn server.

You played on server 1 which is hardcore off server with muti-modes running

You need to try server 2 with hardcore enabled, and Search and Destroy going. S&D by default does not have a respawn.

Gotcha. Server 2 is the secondary server with the better server settings.

Honestly, I don't really care about the run and gun server. It's just nice to have it there for point whoring.

I was already going to try the hardcore server. In fact, I thought both servers would be hardcore enabled. I don't know why TG is catering to the run and gun type. I would think only 1 server would be available to maximize admin presence and concentrate players to one server. I don't want to be stuck like yesterday with the run and gun server populated and the hardcore server empty because I'll just go to another server, which I did and I had a good time there.

Long Bow

I played on server 2 last night for about 2 hours and most rounds had decent communication and teamwork. The odd round teamwork was really strong and you could see that team just dominate. Server 2 FTW

Do you even know what Run and Gun means? by Tactical Realism clans' universally agreed on definition is you fire from hip running.

Most Tactical Realism servers allow, shoot, change cover method as long as all the shots are being made from Iron Sights like Sarc is describing what he is doing.

Most Tactical Realism servers who enforce "No Run and Gun" rule will let you play as long as most of your shots are made with iron sights. Only exception is when firing from hip when spooked.

Anyway, just a clarification.

This changes a lot and I would like it on both servers. Although, enforcing it on the hardcore server only would be fine with me. And... you'd have to turn the killcam on.

Probably why I didn't stay on the server too long. All the TE guys left. I forgot to mention that. We are going to try the hardcore server though and I already know that's a better experience.
