It would be nice to mix in the odd night map into the rotation. I'm not sure about pure nightmaps all the time. From what I've seen in other games it starts to get obnoxious after a while.

It would be awesome if they could mod in that effect you get in SP when you pull your nv mask on. Small thing but, well what can I say? It's awesome; gets me more immersed into the action. Round start, "Masks on!" "ok lets do this!" Also maybe the laser sights to? although they would kinda give away your position. Ooh! maybe only the attackers have nightvision and the defenders only have flashlights, or turret-like spotlights, and torches and pitchforks! Gotta have torches and pitchforks!

Hi, i am the author of the mod

To answer the "smoke & mirror" question, as the ModTools aren't released yet i had to use tricks with Exponential Fog & VisionSet from SP to get the night like effect and thats why the sky isnt dark (except on mp_bog and mp_cargoship).

The version 1.0 was released today as i felt it was good enough to start with, here are the features:

- Enables Night time for all stock maps
- Increased Exponential Fog
- Limited weapons/perks
- Class limited to Assault/Specs Ops
- Laser sight when NightVision Goggles are switched on
- Forces silencer on all weapons
- Auto-assign mode only (still shows team but auto-assign regardless)
- Removed Fx (fire barrels/skips)
- Custom text

The server.cfg included can be tweak for allowing perks/classes/weapons/speed.....
