Tactical Night Mod Beta

Finally got to see one of the first modded servers out there tonight. They are running modded maps that are nighttime. I only got to try out Crash for a few minutes, but it looks very promising.









Can't wait to have these running on both servers. Certainly will change up the game play experience quite a bit.

Why does it look like the buildings are black yet the sky looks like daytime? Is it really a night map or is it just smoke and mirrors?

Night Vision Battles would be fun!

They need to make the sky dark as well... with a nice Full Moon.

I don't think its done yet, in fact I believe its only 70% complete, the night time look is off quite a bit, but I can tell they are working on it. It does seem like you have a constant aura of light that is around your character all the time, as you move the area lights up, I'm not sure if this is intended or not.

It's partly, heavily overcast, in the middle of the day...with a full moon...with a tornado approaching. In the month of March.

I'll reserve judgment until it's complete. Sounds like it'd be interesting, but ONLY night maps? ONLY silenced weapons?

The all night maps seems a bit weird. With the current colour contrast in most maps its already heard enough to see people.
