1.3 Server update

I was wondering why I could only see a few servers tonight with my Steam copy of COD4. Well, Steam patched it to 1.3...which is great but now I can't join our server. Oh well...patches are always good.

Another link. Hopefully steam will have the patch ready by tomorrow. We should have the server updated as soon as possible.

Yeah it will patch you up just fine.

and just FYI... if you bought the Direct2Drive digital download version, like me, your still SCREWED without any patch what so ever yet...

I am DONE with D2D after this BS.

once bubba sees this he will update the servers, and i will bug him until he does. So moral of the story, dont update until he posts saying ours are updated.

Sounds really good, I'm glad they fixed the sniper rifles and the ACOG scopes. I haven't tried them with the new patch yet but I'm definitely going to now

Well considering 1.3 fixes the pure server restriction, shouldn't it be possible for a 1.3 client to connect to a 1.2 server? I know with 1.2 you could join 1.0 server.

Probably not though.

People are already complaining that sniping is too easy now...lol. I'm gonna wait and update when more servers do.

I've downloaded the patch, but am gonna wait and see when the TG servers are updated as that's where I play most of the time anyway. I have a few others in my favorites list, but TG is always #1 for me :P

They did the same thing with BF2, the M24 went from a great sniper to a basically point and click gun.

Remind me always to play on the same team as guardian from now on.

I figured there must have been an update when I could only see 30 servers or so listed.
