Re: Real Life COD4 Weapon Vids

Re: Real Life COD4 Weapon Vids
It ejects either on the bottom or left side. If you look between their right elbow and the butt of the weapon you can see the brass falling. It makes almost a straight line down towards the V of the elbow so hard to tell for sure if it is the angle of the camera making it look like it is falling straight down, or if it does indeed do that.
Edit: It ejects from the bottom, here is the quote from wikipedia: Quote:

Re: Real Life COD4 Weapon Vids
Yeah, empty cartridges pop out a hole in the bottom (I'm so technical). It's so you can hold it in either hand. Unlike the SA-80 L85A1, where if you are left handed you get a load of hot, metal, empty cartridges in the side of your face.

Re: Real Life COD4 Weapon Vids
M16 was the same way when I was in. The left handed Marines would always get one or two casings caught between the neck of their flak jacket and skin so it would just burn the heck out of them. Looked like a curling iron burn so of course they took the brunt of the jokes for that.

Re: Real Life COD4 Weapon Vids
ahh...i see now..
i do not see how that thing can be very accurate at all with such a tiny barrel...especially with full auto, it seem s a true "spray and pray" kind of close-quarters only weapon. would be awesome if they shot as accurately as they do in CoD4..! i have been "sniped" with a P90 w/ACOG from way across the map! somethig i am sure would never be possible in R/L.. ![]() |

Re: Real Life COD4 Weapon Vids
No where even close! The weapon isn't too accurate past 200meters. The weapon was developed strictly for CQB and hostage scenarios where the collateral damage was to be next to nil. The round in-itself is amazing. I have spent a few hours running around a few wooden rooms with this weapon and for CQB its a total RIOT. I still prefer the MP5 with telescoping stock (aka the Navy variant) but if you want the tango to go down dead with only 1 shot then the P90 is your weapon but I will admit the MP5 has practically no recoil so its a trade off.
Of the listed weapons, I counted 17 that I have shot, carried or own. And then the grenades, M203 and claymores are always a great range day! I have collected several RPGs and RPK/RPDs during my time in the box but never got a chance to shoot any but the Draganov. We did happen to find a German MP38 that had been restamped for Spanish army forces. Sadly, I wasnt able to keep it! ![]() Birdie the next time I come down to my folks when we get together I'll let you have a few pulls on some of the goodies I have. I will be picking up the new FS-P90 and currently getting a suppression kit put on it. Should be tight!

Re: Real Life COD4 Weapon Vids
How come you're allowed to own all this and I'm barely allowed to buy a hunting rifle?
