Some of the most enjoyable games I've had were with "kids" who were either girls or guys not quite of shaving age, to tell from their voices. And some of my worst games were with childish 30 year olds. How about an age limit that allows under 12 and over 30 only? That should allow some time for guys to learn how to handle their testosterone.

A 6 year old can have more maturity and understanding of playing a game than some older people. The only reason why I would say any age limit would be thought about would be some of the language that might be heard from the youngin's. Of course we all have the slip of the tongue occassionally but a lot of parents might think their children should not hear that language while playing a game of killing people. Kind of ironic, isn't it?!?! Young kinds can't hear foul language but play games about killing people. LOL

My son never said a bad word in his life, all he did was just sit and play First Person Shooter games.

What games and what did they involve?
Mother:
Oh, running around killing people like in BF2, CoD4, and Crysis. BUT the people he played with were really nice, they never cursed or anything like that.
Reporter:
And they wonder where he got such ideas from?

I hear worse language than in games pretty much every day, with the possible exception of Rainbow 6 Vegas - that had a lot of rudies in!

Im only 15 as well and quite frankly, there are alot of people (not gonna say any names) that are alot less mature and have short fused tempers. I have a short fuse as well, kinda heridetary. (My dads got a short fused temper too) BUT i deal with it and bottle it up lol!
KDaddy seems kinda, not immature but like hes on some kind of drug...THC maybe?
Do you really want invincible bears running around raping your churches and burning your women?

hey im |SAS|Sean #2 , i agree there should be an age limit, im 16,, the age limit should be 16+ because it says that in the manual, i admit i get a little bit imature for my age i cant help it when i die somtimes i just go MENTAL so i take it out on other players thats why i got kicked i think
good thing to bring up in forums though

me=Umpa Lumpa age 30 my son=admiralkiller age 12 we dont use any hacks and we do not cheat in anyway. we just play the game and try to have some fun
And are computers are not in the same room
I'am new to playing in a tactical way I try to do as best as I can for the team
I made no threats towards you just stated I didn't appreciate you accusing my son of cheating thats all I said

wow, thanks Bommy..i get a plug in every single thread on this server...
there are a couple really, REALLY young kids that come to play on our server..only one of them would get my vote to keep playing here (if there was such a thing), and that would be Micheal..the past week or so he has REALLY come a long way...it is obvious that he is a very intelligent young man, and he has gone from a complete annoyance to a real player...certainly compared to what he was like when he first began playing on our servers...

Mecha, let me say this, IF it was you playing that day with admiral killer, you could have saved a lot of drama and a lot of people thinking there was something "fishy" going on if you would have just spoke up and said something about who you were and what was going on.
I have an 11 year old and a 7 year old, there is NO way i would let them play this game. First off because i know that on this server it is ALL about TACTICAL play, hence the name TacticalGamer.com and I know that they are too young to grasp the concept of tactical play. Second off the game is rated M for mature and they arent mature enough to play it. Your boy may be, im not saying he isnt, i dont know the lad.
But if it was you who was playing with your boy that day, then why didnt you speak up and say something??? And if your puters arent in the same room, how could i say something to admiral killer who was on my team at one point, and umpa lumpa answer me on text in the game within a second or so???? Just curious.

My vote would be to only allow players to join that have passed the point in puberty where their voices drop in Db. The high pitched squealing is what kills me, unfortunately Michael may not pass that test
I have found some of the worst offenders are not always the young ones but rather the 15-19 year olds that run their mouth or are racist to get a rise out of people.

Im 16 and i dont remember his name but me and this one person from TG, we worked very professionally and we rocked the other team so many times just him and me... =D so idk wat you is talkin bout when u says we kids is not mature dood. (lol)

like amu said... age is (sorta) irrelevant.
I've played on servers where youngins are very good at tactical play.... and some just don't get it.... same goes for older players that haven't experienced tactical play, or don't care to.Vir-Chew-All!!

well really im 10 and my name is |TG|michael . i think that age does'nt matter as long as the listen/follow the rules. cause kids can act like adults thats what i think. Originally Posted by Gunner
