    Exclamation Ribbons lacking in COD4

    As far as the other TG communities I see that several get the support of RIBBONS for wearing on the their forum accounts. Alas, I do not see where us COD4 players have the opportunity to earn those same RIBBONS.

    Is there something as a Tactical Officer within the 13th I can do to help get this started or to even manage it?

    I have seen some great abilities and I would like to know what needs to get this ball started so some of regulars can start getting a little more prestige here in the forums for their contributions on our servers.

    Looking at the increase of new players on the server and new members here on the forums it would be another goal for our particular slice of the TG community to earn some nice rewards.

    Let me know what you think.

    I don't have clue how the ribbons work but it would be nice to recognise players for their hardwork i.e. helping out new players, working on the TRM mod etc. Oh wait, I need to create a category I could get a ribbon for, beer drinking while supposed to be admining and missing rule violations [it's in teh bag]

    IMO the ribbons are more of a self confidence thing more then a recognition of good work. It may be both, but if you were awarded a ribbon would it not boost your confidence a little bit?

    I think that ribbons for COD4 is a great idea because i have nominated a few people when i used to play PR. There are some pretty amazing players out there.

    I would nominate Grieg for being a super l33T P90 Ub3r noob PWN3R!!

    I find that the only one problem with the ribbons is that if a certain group of people are awarded a ribbon, the ones who werent may be disapointed.Also, if someone were awarded a few ribbons and lots of other people had ribbons, the ones who didnt may feel.......uh well you know what im saying.

    Ribbons are ok. Some people like to wear them some don't care one way or the other. I say put them in, who knows it may cause somebody to be more responsible in order to win a ribbon.

    I think I like the ribbon idea. There are many persons I'd nominate for their excellence on and off the server.

    Since CoD 4 has come out only one ribbon has been issued. No other nominations have come forward. If you see someone that you think deserves to be recognized, submit them.
