    What needed to start on TG COD4

    Hi, I play mostly PR but have been in COD4 also, pubbing til I get better. I wanted to get on TG today, but could not. Can someone give me the link to what is needed ( I looked a bit) to play TG Cod4?

    So far I have the latest 1.5 patch.

    Do I need This TRM mod? and if so where do I go.

    I have the IP's in my fav files but they are white. Doesnt seem that I can get in.

    The IP's are 75.125.97.200:28960 Hard Core S&D. ranked.
    75.125.97.201:28960 TRM mod.

    The ranked server is hard core mode and to open up all the weapons you have to earn them.

    The TRM mod is on the server. Therefore nothing special for you to do. Has new maps and such. All weapons open.

    What error messages are you getting? I use the IP to log in myself. Use the ~ key to get the console then type "connect 75.125.97.200" without the quotes, that should get you in. If you still have trouble connect to TeamSpeak and ask for help. Oh make sure in options to set PunkBuster to on and for the mod you need to allow downloads.

    Oh I forgot to tell you to read the sticky section above for rules of play (must reads, etc.). This is a must before playing.

    Also as a supporting member you can get into reserved slots. There is a post on how to go about setting it up (might be a sticky here or in the SM forum?) This is very handy during prime time on the S&D server.

    Also we have TRM Thursday nights, a good time to try out the TRM server with the regulars.

    Thanks alot. A few of you gave me some advice on my new build, thanks for that also. I will see if I can get on tonight. I played PR for a year now and love it still, but a few games of cod4 recently has me more interested. I am a big believer in the TG tactical way of playing, as you will see. Shoot me soon, StevieRay

    Also in your game options allow downloading so that you can download the maps automatically as well as the TRM mod.

    Make sure you get your PunkBuster GUID put into your forum account information so that your Supporting Membership status works in your favor on the servers.

    Hi, and thank you all. I am all set now. I played with a bunch of the 13th and some other mixed in. It is a nice break from Project Reality...shorter combat rounds, very fast pace. Funny, I did ok I think because of the patience and strategy needed to play PR. But, lots to learn. The maps for one. EVERYONE knew the map inside out...every nook and cranny to hide in. I always, always use voip. My mic was hard to hear the other night but I have that fixed. I am playing on my lappy until my new build is up.

    I take the TG way of playing serious. For some reason I do not have TG in my Cod4 tag. From what I have read that doesnt matter to most of you as long as the rules and tactics are followed.

    Stevie, you can edit your name in your Multiplayer Options or by typing "/name |TG|StevieRay" (or whatever name you use) in the console (Shift+ ~)
