If i cant hear you for the next 3 weeks im sorry and here is why i am an idiot
I was trying to fix my subwoofer and it started to screech extremely loudly in my ear. First thing i did was take my baseball bat to it then i saw a doc and i have to wear thse ear pads for 3 weeks that even worsen my hearing and wont let me use my headphones so things arent gonna be to great from me

At least you can still hear.
Try driving in a 4 up armored vehicle convoy and have three one hundred pound bombs go off right next to your vehicle.
Legally deaf in the right hear and only around 40% in the left.
I wish I had the popping noises.

So...you were playing around with a speaker (inanimate object), then you did something to cause the speaker to make a noise, which was apparently right in your ear (sort of like holding an "unloaded" gun to look in the barrel), then after "it" hurt your ear, you beat it with a baseball bat.
That is just pitiful. You may want to consider some sort of anger management type of thing and get some help before you do something even dumber and end up in jail.
It is pretty funny though to envision you freaking out and smashing the thing with a bat!!

The little yellow foam inserts are really the only thing they hand out on a regular basis but those really aren't that good. When you do go thru basic you are fitted with special plugs for your ears but if you can actually maintain accountability of those things you are a better person than me! I did get some great SureFire ear inserts that eliminate around 98% of the noise but another part of the problem that people are currently working on is the over pressure that occurs during the blast. Ear plugs cant help you on that one and thats normally what bursts ear drums.

I'm sorry to hear yall both have hearing problems. Mine isn't to great either from shooting without ear protection. Id shoot the dang thing with my M1 carbine. Birdie its not a problem i dont know how i set it off... i was gonna junk it even if i couldnt fix it cause it wasnt that great anyways but i wasnt gonna pay someone to fix it. And like you never took something you hated and whacked it around alittle bit.
