Just wait until i7 processors hit. At that point, the current Core2Whatever chips will plummet in price.
As for the game... eh... I guess I'll get it. I've played every CoD game out there for PC. I don't see how this one will be spectacular, but it should be better in some regards to 4. If they didn't improve it a little, I'd be surprised.
