Hey gang! I just felt I owed you all an explanation since some players were caught off guard.

From time to time I believe the player base needs to experience a change of pace and that is what occurred last night around 11:30pm. The normal S&D rotation was lifted for one map and for one play style. The server rule was posted several rounds on the previous map that the base Demolitions kit was the only authorized kit. I understand the message didnt reach all players but once the map changed to TDM on Killhouse I was very surprised to see 98% of the 22 players playing with the base Demolitions kit. And what a freaking HOOT that was! Shotgun blasts and RPG smoke trails littered the map and it was so FUN and really allowed, in my humble opinion, the player base at large take a short reprieve from the normal Tactical S&D. I was laughing so hard at some of the kills and watching the rag doll effects of multiple RPG strikes had me in tears.

I also take full responsibility for the map change. I also fully understand that Killhouse and TDM are not a tactical type of map or play style but I think we just need to lighten up from time 2 time. It is just a game and we all need to push back from our keyboards and reevaluate how people get so wrapped up and aggravated about this game and certain players. Please realize that it is just a game and that many of us come here to relax and play and to enjoy one another's company. If you find yourself getting irritable or angry with the game or the player base please log out and go do something else.

I ran Killhouse as TDM for the sake of having fun and to release a bit of frustration with the bickering of the player base. Thats it!
