Bad Pings
Still have it today...anyone else here have seen a rise in their pings since the weekend?
Mine is usually 97-101 and now I am seeing 150-190....Birdie thought it had to do with some of the routing going on as a result from Ike.

Do a tracert to the server, this will help show the path you are taking to get there. Of course it won't help much if you didn't really know what it looked like before. But, keep an eye on your latency, maybe you have a problematic router downstream.
Here is mine from the Office.
I go from Toledo, OH to Chicago, then hit Denver, and down to Dallas, then to Houston.
That is weird, wonder why I am going through Houston, I thought the server was in Dallas.

My ping seems pretty stable at my normal of 70-80ms from Michigan.
@beaker - I am pretty sure the server is in Houston, and Birdie has a cot set up next to it with his 30ms pings.

Beaker, the server was, at one point in Dallas, but is now in Houston..
I have had a lot of issues here recently with my ping as well..the tracrt function had mine going all over the place for a couple weeks..
now it is a LOT better, and my ping is back to "normal" 30's or so...I am sure that with the storm damage there is going to be some major "wth's" going until all that is settled..

UMMM, computer retard here. How do you do that Tracer thingy?????? I tried typing it into my command prompt screen but it didnt work.
nevermind, got it.
Mine only takes 7 hops to get to houston and have a ping of like 54 now. WOO HOO

90's and I'm in Florida. I get like 60 at my Chicago Server. However mine has been like this for a while. Did a test and looks like its just about right. Whats retarded is that Chicago is further away. Lol =(
