New Nvidia Drivers
New WHQL-certified version 178.13 ForceWare reference drivers are now available for NVIDIA GeForce 6, 7, 8, 9, and GTX 200 graphics accelerators, offering performance and compatibility improvements. There are new drivers for Windows XP 32-Bit, Windows XP 64-Bit, Windows Vista 32-Bit, and Windows Vista 64-Bit.
Includes several 3D application performance improvements. The following are examples of improvements measured with v178.13 WHQL versus v175.19 WHQL driver:
* Single GPU increases up to 11% in 3DMark Vantage (performance preset)
* Single GPU increases up to 11% in Assassin's Creed DX10
* Single GPU increases up to 15% in Bioshock DX10
* Single GPU increases up to 15% in Call of Duty 4
* Single GPU increases up to 8% in Enemy Territory: Quake Wars
* 2-way SLI increases up to 7% in Bioshock DX10
* 2-way SLI increases up to 10% in Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts DX10
* 2-way SLI increases up to 12% in Enemy Territory: Quake Wars
* 2-way SLI increases up to 10% in World in Conflict DX10
This quoted from Bamboo's post and I had Windows search and install the drivers - no problem except for having to rearrange my desktop.

Re: New Nvidia Drivers
Thanks for the heads up Bronco! I still have a few days before the eVGA specific drivers are released, but now I know to keep an eye out.
I don't know if other card manufacturers have specific drivers as eVGA does, but I highly recommend getting said drivers if they do. I haven't done any real, hardcore testing, but I have noticed that in 3dMark, I get about a 5-10% increase in fps with the eVGA drivers over the WHQL drivers released by nVIDIA. The only problem I have encountered with using card specific drivers is that they are generally not WHQL certified.

Re: New Nvidia Drivers
New drivers work nicely.. I have my settings now on HIGH so much more I keep finding in the game that makes it look so much better.. Eventually I'll get it to where i can see the leaves, and grass like everyone else does. Figured high would let me do that, but apperently it doesnt. Oh well..

Re: New Nvidia Drivers
For some reason, no matter what driver I install, I don't get the WDDM verification (Windows Display Driver Model). And it craps out when I try to do the Windows Experience Index thing to get a rating.
