Word of the Day
I just visited Dictionary.com to check some spelling and found the Word of the Day is...
melee
MAY-lay; may-LAY, noun,A fight or hand-to-hand struggle in which the combatants are mingled in one confused mass.
Yup, that's me, one confused mass.
Some may want to take note of the correct pronunciation...but I'll answer to anything reasonably close.|TG|MeleeClear Eyes, Full Hearts, Can't Lose!

Re: Word of the Day
Mediator = One that mediates, especially one that reconciles differences between disputants.
This is me in game..... I just shoot the 2 disputants and it's done. I chose the name for the irony of the definition as compared to what we do in first person shooters."The mind stretched to a new concept can never return to it's orginal dimension."
"What the mind can conceive and believe..... it can achieve."

Nice to see why people choose their names. That is if they have a reason.

Re: Word of the Day
Birdie..last name is Burdette..part of my name got cut off of a roll call list, and a teacher I had in 5th or 6th grade (stupid coach) called me "Burde"..pronouncing it like "Birdy"..so I have been "Birdie" ever since..even my mom calls my office, and asks for "Birdie"..how freaking sad is that!

Re: Word of the Day
Back in roughly 1986 or 1987, a few friends from high school and my brothers started playing Dungeons & Dragons. I had to come up with a name for my mage character on the spot. I came up with Mindkill, as he was going to be able to kill with his mind (well, it made sense back then). Then I got into playing MUDs (Multi-User Dungeon or Multi-User Domain) online and used the name Mindkill. The name just stuck as my internet persona. And, if you can't pronounce my name, you better go back to school.
