How or When are we gonna get to vote on this?
This map should be removed from TG's server. I agree with the others on tactical lopsidedness of creek. What I'm not understanding is why this isn't being put to an official vote of some sort. I mean we pay to play here and this thread proves that quite a few members(including admins) disapprove of this map being in rotation so why are we still just discussing it. Put it to a vote and I'll put money down that it will be as lopsided as the map is.

Re: Creek is such a great map.....
I never claim to be a genius on things but according to this post its like a 902138901283190839012839012839182 to 1 vote in favor of removing the map.
Do we have electoral colleges or something to pull this off the list?
Cause I am tired of choosing between a ghillie suit and an extreme conditioning kit to try to make it thru the tactical "Tons of Smoke A" tactic where I end up tripping over my own team members and that log on the side to get to the bomb site. I guess we could make it a mandatory shotgun and RPG map =P

Re: Creek is such a great map.....
Think of it as a test. A team only has to have one successful plant to swing the tide in their favor. It takes teamwork to approach and succeed on this map and it is almost always (I have seen some "teams" steamrolled) a long map because of a lack of snipers that have learned to move in support of the objective.
Actually there are eight distinct strategies covering the three approaches to the planting sites and then variations based on player base. In the end the art of balancing your team kits and deployment is outweighed by the superior defensive position. The odds are against you from the start so much for fair and balanced play. That should raise some interest as I have seen some inspired strategies and its been one map in rotation that server 1 slows down for and becomes the TG server its suppose to be.
All that being said, I still vote with my feet and jump to server 2 when it starts.

Re: Creek is such a great map.....
Well Bronco the problem with balancing your teams kits is kinda hard when most people are snipers. And honestly I do my best on Creek with my sniper rifle. And even if there are more ways to attack the defense will see your plan.

Well, there's clearly no persuading any of you, and majority rules. I guess I'll be quiet then.

Re: Creek is such a great map.....
Well as far as persuading any of you goes, I fail. I apologize to Mindkill for offending you, but I honestly find it extremely disappointing that tactical gamers are putting down a good map that is actually challenging and doesn't have to involve a rush every single time simply because the defense has an advantage. But apparently nobody else has fun on the map, or apparently finds fun in planning a tactical assault, so why keep it?

Another Reason To Destroy This Map
Tonight when we rotated to this map the other team wiped the floor with my offensive team.
I was the last man standing with an assualt kit and no where to run. So I go to get the bomb and the map gets changed by the admins. I don't know the actual reason because there was so much ranting going on after it happened but we got put into free for all mode on shipment for 8 or 9 mins and then Team Deathmatch on another small map that I dont know the name of. After about 2 mins we went to overgrown S&D and all seemed to be fine. My point being that if we are just going to skip the stupid map anyway can't we just remove it.

And what the heck is this??(sorry I don't know how to put others posts into mine so I copied it) We don't get a say on our own server? I know I don't run it but I didn't think I bought into a dictatorship.
