Re: First of many Friday Night Password Nights.
I agree I want to be a supporting member but I'm 18 unemployed and all my money goes to gas in my big ass suv. Once I get a job which might be soon I will be able to be a supporting member. But I agree with this cause I'm always on this site like everday. But yeah I didn't know the password was going into effect like this afternoon. It should have gone into effect like later. It was like 3 and I went to play and the password was on and there was only one guy in.

Re: First of many Friday Night Password Nights.
WOW! i was invited by ............... to join the the game and when birdie asked me if i was SM i said ''no do you want me to leave?'' i wouldn't have minded leaving but..... getting kicked i find down right rude ESPECIALLY being as i was ready to leave without a fuss... thats just not right even though i prefer to put my money in my kids college funds doesnt mean i deserve to be disrespected that way.

You are right, I apologize to you Drunken..I did not mean to be a "DN" to you.
I would, as well as Bubba, like to know who gave you the password. Please send it to me in a pm.

Well TY birdie i apreciate the apology and the profetionalism you've proven by making it. Where as the password-giver is concerned i would prefer have a talk with bubba himself before divulging that information, because i beleive he had good reason to do so and id like to give my version of the facts directly to him.

Re: First of many Friday Night Password Nights.
The question i am wondering in fact is, if the Friday private nights are to have rule abiding AND team playing games, why cant team players and rule abiding guests be invited? (keeping in mind that on those nights, rules are AND should be really strict meaning after 1st warning it goes strait to 1 week ban to make sure you dont ruin next weeks game)[once again just an idea] PS: BTW i dont mind having my ideas rejected loll i have too many!

Re: First of many Friday Night Password Nights.
I feel for everyone that didn't get to play but this is just a special event that you didn't buy tickets for.
But the gameplay last night was entirely different from the normal play we usually have on the server, i loved it! A great example of why we should do a password night!
I thought the turnout would be better, but i guess we don't have that many SM's, yet. Or maybe more will show next time.

Re: First of many Friday Night Password Nights.
the gameplay, although it was only about 5v5 or 6v6, was spectacular. totally TG.
if you want in, 9/month for a few months in NOT bad. You can literally earn a month of SM in an hour of work. Go mow a lawn if you are a kid, or wash a car, or if you are 15 or older, get a 1-shift-a-week job at a restaurant.

Re: First of many Friday Night Password Nights.
I started playing a few weeks ago, been on the server every Friday and saterday night, learned the rules, and in my opinion was having a fun time with allot of the regulars in the server.
To bad this server password thing makes an end to that.
And not only for me but allot of other non members that put in their time and effort to learn and understand the rules, and be as good of a TG they can be.
I don't feel that the ideas that have been posted here by a couple of us are taken serious.
The fact that we/they do reply here,
make an effort to read the forums,
play the games the way the rules state them to be played,
and have a thought about how this server pass thing can work in other ways.
In my eyes that means we/they are just as much TGamers than a paying member.
But okay that's my 5 cents, hope there will be room for thoughts/alternatives so us non members can join in on the Friday and Saturday night games in the near future.

Re: First of many Friday Night Password Nights.
WOW, a lot of people are taking this it seems as a personal attack or something. I will say this, I DONT HAVE A VIEW ONE WAY OR ANOTHER on this one. I think that there are a lot of things that some people seem to be missing out on though.
For those of us that fall under that SM category, cough even if someone else is paying it right now cough, THE GAME PLAY LAST NIGHT WAS INCREDIBLE!!!!! The most fun I have had on the Server in a long long time. Hope this type of gameplay continues throughout the rest of the nights of the week.
For those that arent SM's, consider this: Yes you play here at tactical gamer, yes we love having you here if you are of the right mindset and have read all the rules and regs and boundary lines and signed off on them and play according to TG standards. BUT WHERE WOULD YOU BE PLAYING IF IT WASNT FOR THE SM's ???? If people didnt pay to play here , you wouldnt have this server either, SO if there is one night out of the week where only SM's get to play you should consider yourself fortunate you have 6 other nights you can play here for free. Just my 2 cents.

Re: First of many Friday Night Password Nights.
Hey, for the price of a movie you can become a paying member. Nine dollars a month is not a lot these days. For the price of two packs of cigarettes you get to play. I say where else can you get a better bang for the bucks.

Re: First of many Friday Night Password Nights.
My suggestion would be to leave the password off until 8pm eastern. At 5 till 8, send a few global console messages to alert players that the server will be reset at 8 for an event and that they should read the forum for more info.

Re: First of many Friday Night Password Nights.
So true! In fact I considered changing all of my standard loadouts for something a little more tactical since I was playing with some extremely tactically focused players.
Sorry if I hurt any of the nonSM's feelings but majority of my kills are mostly nonSMs or SM that are attempting to shoot other nonSMs.

Again, I agree 100%. I hear all of the sad stories and have to agree that this is a chance for the regular SMs to enjoy some seriously tactical play with out any RPGs in the spawn. This is eventually going to turn into a TGU and TG scrimmage once we determine how the turnouts are going to be.
This would work perfectly! I support that idea Drona!

Re: First of many Friday Night Password Nights.
I'm not taking this whole thing personally but I would love to be a SM but I have no job and have money yes, but I don't have paypal and I don't have a bank account. If there another way to pay then yes I would be willing to cough up 9 bucks a month. But since the only method that I found was paypal then I am going to have to wait til I get a job. Which should be soon btw.
