    clays on server 2

any chance of getting rid of them?

    1) they're buggy

    2) they kill more teammates than enemy

    3) even when it is called where they're at, 8 minutes later while rushing from one site to another for the defuse, it's kind of hard to remember.

    4) lots of times they're planted in spots where they block teammates paths, from one site to another.

    5) without the red indicator lines it makes bomb squad pretty much mandatory.

    6) even though they can be defused (can they still be defused with the new mod?) they're almost never planted in a manner that would allow for the defuse from behind.

    7) more, I'm sure.

    thanks.

We try and provide a realistic feeling to the game, turning all that back on would be the opposite.

turn what back on? I dont understand... Im scared....
do modern armies even use claymores any more?

so, they're staying because they're buggy and annoying?

not buggy, that's the way they are programmed.

    clays kill friendlies.

    Here's my take on this:

Clays are still used...confirmed from a reliable source just back from Iraq and Afghanistan

Provides the need for more communication; i.e. "Do not enter the <direction> entrance to the objective, I have clay'd. Cover X direction....

Forces perimeter coverage from the defensive standpoint and more communication of status

Bombsquad perk...greater need for recon/point squad member

Unlike server 1, reality sets in and clays don't pick and choose between friendly and hostile tangos.

I can agree with you tera....if someone isn't paying attention, it can be difficult.

Exactly i like the fact you cant see the red lines cause its tougher for the enemy to spot em.

I would have to agree Bomb Squad should be taken off the server, It would persuade people to slow down a heck of a lot more. Maybe add 30 more seconds to a round .

    Re: clays on server 2

ok, I just hear a few people complaining about clays blowing themselves up while being planted, and I didnt put it on the list, but I think it would be better to force players to watch areas instead of just claying them up.

Hmm, I thought one of the reasons I put up was that it made bomb squad almost mandatory.. guess I left that one out... my bad.

taking BS off, I think that will only go to make people hate clays more, so Im for it.
