    Reminder about mixed mode play.

People, this should not even be an issue on a TG server.

You STILL have an objective when we play a gametype other than S&D.

Headquarters: Your job is to capture that HQ. Once it is captured, you are NOT to run around the map looking for kills. You are to DEFEND the HQ to prevent it being destroyed by the enemy.

Domination: Your job is to capture and DEFEND flags. Not run around killing people.

Same for all other gametypes on our server. Yes, this includes TDM when the Frontlines mod is on. What's the objective there you ask? Don't die. Each side starts with a set amount of "soldiers". Every death takes away one of these, so it doesn't help your team to run around and kill 30 guys while taking 30 or more deaths.

Play the game-type as stated. Listen to the admins. I will clear the server again if I have to.

I have to add my voice here as well. If its determined that a player is operating outside the SOPs and Primer during any round of play, they may expect to be removed from the server.

I really dont mean to argue, but on TDM i just need to ask for clarity. You say that the objective in team death match is not to die, while I agree with that, the objective is also to kill the enemy. They way you stated it KD, it seems like your implying that both teams play defense. Now, i dont think that both teams playing defense is gonna get them anywhere, so in all honesty, if the people in two or three man teams wanna go and kill some people while others defend, then i think that is alright. But your the admins so ill play it your way, but thats just kind of the way i see TDM working best. Not with both teams on defensive. And if you didnt mean it the way you worded it, then my bad.

Yeah, didn't mean it that way... meant to say to work as a team, cover each others backs and not run off by yourself to rack up kills.

Exactly the strong hand from above I was hoping for. It seems like a couple people need a boot to get it into their heads.

Thanks for the post. I saw a few TG wearer's breaking rules the other day when we were playing the Frontlines mod, and I left the server because it was disappointing, to say the least.

Please play the objectives people, and please don't disgrace the TG name by bellyflopping, etc. I've been apart of the TG community for 4 years, and even though I dont wear the TG tag (anymore) I expect you guys to hold me to the same standards as anyone else in my squad or TG.

Keep it tactical, keep it team oriented, keep it fun!
