Just giving thanks to TG
I just renewed my SM status after playing here for one year. It seems as though I've been playing with you guys for eternity. I mean that it a good way.
Since I started playing here I've made a custom map, was asked to join the 13th squad and have become an admin for COD. I've met some of the greatest FPS players ever to play video games and I believe I've made some friends in the process. I wish I could do a lot more to contribute to a great community, but life leaves my time limited during certain periods.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that you guys (TG Members) are a great bunch of people and, after 1 year of playing here, I couldn't be any more happy with finding Tactical Gamer. So, you're all stuck with me for at least another year. Hope you can all tolerate me.
Thanks for playing guys. Much respect!
Even you...Birdie!

Re: Just giving thanks to TG
I just passed my one year mark too.
I gotta say, TG has made me a PC FPS gamer. I was always a console person and never really got into the whole FPS thing. I was more about the racing and platforming games and such.
One day, my buddy gives me a copy of CoD4. I install it, play the single player, then hop on to the multiplayer and was frustrated to the point of almost giving the game back, when I stumbled across the TG server. Changed my life forever and introduced me to some great friends (all of you guys).
Since then I've bought at least 6 other PC FPS games and barely turn on the ole PS2 anymore.

Re: Just giving thanks to TG
I know I'm not a SM but this tuesday I will be. Before TG i usually just pick a random server that had people and I really never played S&D because all that ever happened was run and gun and then thats it. So when I stumbled across TG I was surprised to see people playing tactically. I loved it and stuck with it. I went out bought a mic and I never really go on other servers. I wanted to become a SM because I hated being kicked lol. Now even though the server really isnt full as much as it used to be I will still get a SM. Because TG is really the only server I play on and I really want to support it and watch it grow. It's only been 4-5 months that I have been here, and plan to be here much longer.
