Hi all, just to let you know I'm still around.
Ok I've finally got my computer up again.
after the big fail, I got the PSU replaced under warrenty but they would'nt replace the MB, so I had to spend some more money(much to my wifes dicussed) and then found my board is not in production any more(EP45-DS4P). I went for the new GA EP45-DS5 which I installed (no probs) then had to reinstall Vista got it all up and running (I thought) and kept getting a boot fail.In between having to go back to and pulling my hair out chasing this problem last night i finally got it fixed. The problem was in the Bios, I had to update from V5 to V12 and finally it is stable again. Now i just have to get everything reloaded. I've still got to contend with work and the family on school holidays so as soon as i can i will be back to the severs, hopfly sooner than later
