    Adding the |TG| tags to my character profile.

    Hey everyone, just have a slight question about adding the tags to my profile. As I can't find an option to change my soldiers name I was wondering if there was a console command I have to use to add the tags. Or do I have to create a completely new soldier to put on the tags.

    Note: I don't intend on putting them on right now as I wish to play some more rounds on the server with TG members. At the moment I don't feel 100% accustomed with the playstyle of TG on CoD4, or at least not accustomed enough to feel comfortable putting on the tags. I'm just curious on how I go about putting then on my soldier profile. Thanks for the assistance.

    By the way, I go by Cipher on CoD4. I think I played with Marine, Hazmat, Baboon, and Commander yesterday. It was fun, I enjoyed the rounds.

    You can choose another player name for your "player" in the multiplayer options. So you can add tags there as well.

    i want to thank you on posting on this topic..... not to single you out or anything or make a grand stand, but your the type of player that really promotes the TG server. You know that your not 100% with our rules but you know what the TG tag stands for.

    Thanks for the answer Bronco, I swear I looked in Multiplayer options. Must have missed it or read it for something else.

    Oh and thanks Snake_Doc. I've read the server rules and stuff, I just want to make sure I can play comfortably by them on TG CoD4. I also play Battlefield 2142, as it is a game pretty much designed around Teamwork it was much easier for me to get adapted to the TG rules and mindset while playing.

    I'm used to playing Team Deathmatch in CoD4 so the whole die and don't respawn is kind of foreign. Since I'm used to respawning I tend to creep a little too far away from my defense points in S&D than I should. For the most part I think I have everything down mentaly, I just need to make sure I can put it all into practice.

    lol, yeah from the start I knew the fact that I go by two names was going to be slightly confusing. Normally I use "Jetheren" for any RPG, MMO, fantasy style games, and forum profile names. I use "Cipher" for the shooters and action stuff. The exception is for Battlefield 2142 as I really don't want to make a new soldier and have to get all the unlocks just so it can have the name Cipher.

    Yeah and I think I remember you too badbest. Sorry, my memory isn't the best in the world. I can't wait to hit it up with more TG members on CoD4!

    ah thats no problem, my name is shortened (|TG-69th|bbest) anyway on it so yea its a lil confusing

    Yeah now I remember! The shortened name makes sense, I gotcha. Man S&D destroy is freaking hard on CoD4. I mean in CC:S the weapons are crazy inaccurate so that helps with the paper thin armor stuff, but CoD4 is a whole different ballpark. I'm going to have to rethink all my strategies.

    lol, yea its hard switching between cs:s and cod4 with me. thats why you dont see me there, but im finally remember the basic controls.
